He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Walker and Daisy Viola Burton Minor; his wife Lucile Colon Minor; his children, Janice Smith and Paul Allen Minor; and his siblings, Franklin Minor, George Minor, Calvin Minor, Grady Minor, Roy Minor, Mary Waller and Nettie Seamon.
He is survived by: his children, David Minor of Sparta, Richard Minor (Kathy) of West Jefferson, Jay Minor (Patty) of Glade Creek, Paula Hunt (Tommy) of Sparta, Patricia McCarn of Sparta, Donna Cagle of Harmony and Rebecca Renegar (Donald) of Yadkinville; and his siblings, William Minor of Advance and Dorothy Farmer of Lexington. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces.
