It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Ford (Sparta, North Carolina), who passed away on June 11, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Thomas and Beulah Davis Wood; her husband James Henry Ford; her sons, James Larry Ford and Ronald Allen Ford; her grandson Todd Ford; her great grandchild Jonathan Taylor Carr; and her brother Harold Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Robinson, Kathryn Trane (Fred) of Athens, GA and Scott Ford (Helen) of Walkertown; her brother Bobby Wood (Betty Jo) of Climax; and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Wood of Sophia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 6522 US Hwy 221, Laurel Springs, NC 28644.
