He was predeceased by: his parents, Cary Brown and Nancy Holloway Brown; his wife Sarah Florence Gann Brown; and his brother Keith Brown. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Brown of Ennice and Gary Brown (Donna) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Brady Carpenter (Kayla) of Glade Valley, Jim Brown (Anya) of Sparta, Stacy Miller (Bradley) of Sparta, Jason Carpenter (Mandy) of Sparta, Ashley Brown (John Cooke) of Winston-Salem and Mitchell Brown (Jessica) of Glade Valley; and his siblings-in-law, Frankie Denton of Pelion, SC and Danny Gann (Judy) of Sharpsburg, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
