George Bryan Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2019, at the age of 74, George Bryan Sr. (Sparta, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ferrell Bryan, Sr. and Ina Ada Valentine Bryan; and his brothers, Nathan Bryan and Melvin Ray Bryan. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Carol Bryan; his children, Miranda B. Bell (James) of Smithfield, Marlene B. Scott (Eric Todd) of Statesville and George Lee Bryan, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; his brothers, Ferrell Bryan, Jr. (Vickey) of Independence, VA and James Raymond Bryan (Jackie) of Sparta; his sisters-in-law, Ethelene Bryan of Winston-Salem, Jennifer Bryan of Philadelphia, PA, Sue Bryan Brandon of Winston-Salem and Lisa Poe Bryan of Sparta; his godchildren, Rachelle Bryan of Greensboro and Derrell Scott of Concord; and his nephew Rodney Lee Redd of Sparta. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
