She was predeceased by: her parents, Early Eugene and Minnie Hale Nichols; her son Tommy Nichols; and her siblings, Ellis Nichols, Robert Nichols, Eugene Nichols, Marshall Nichols, Raymond Nichols and Trula Wigington.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Nichols; her children, Bettylou Williams of Sparta and Johnny Nichols of Sparta; and her sister Virginia Sturgill (Wade) of Sparta. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
