He was predeceased by: his parent Jean Cossaboon Brown; and his brother Bruce Brown. He is survived by: his parent Lawrence Brown; his wife Patricia D. Brown; his children, Gregory M. Brown, Jr. of Sparta, Kevin Brown (Audrey) of Corbin City, Amanda Ashworth (Randy) of Galax, Virginia Brown and Jenny Brown of Hickory; and his brothers, Donald Brown of Wilkesboro and Wayne Brown of Tennessee. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
