It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Johnson Lane (Sparta, North Carolina), who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Straley W. Johnson and Maggie Victoria Osborne Johnson; and her husband Everett Lane (Gordon Gambill). She is survived by : her son Bill Edwards of Sparta; her grandchildren, Cole Edwards of Charlotte, NC, Drew Todd (Jeremy) of Piney Creek, NC and Forrest Edwards of Raleigh; her great grandchild Graham Temple of Piney Creek, NC; and her sister Bobbie Petty. She is also survived by several nieces, great-nieces, cousins & special friends.
