He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rayburn Pruitt, Clayburn Pruitt, Damon Pruitt and Zondra Pruitt; and his brother-in-law Lonnie Spicer.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Pruitt; his sons-in-law, Carolyn Vazquez, Benjamin Vazquez of Danbury, Jennifer Lester and Chris Lester of Sparta; his stepson James Farley; and his sister Beatrice Spicer of Richland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
