She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Leonard and Annie Brooks Perry; her husband Berry Clate Edwards; her son Samuel Mack Edwards; and her brothers, Doughton Perry, Hugh Perry and Guy Perry.

She is survived by: her sons, William C. "Bill" Edwards (Sandy) of Sparta, Jack Edwards (Patricia) of Sparta, Stan Edwards (Shirley) of Sparta and David Edwards (Lisa) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Noelle Williams (Michael) of Dry Ridge, KY, Allison Holladay (Rob) of Mt. Airy, Dana Wolff (Chuck) of Tobaccoville, Lucinda Davis (Michael) of Sparta, Brad Edwards (Sherrie Taylor) of Sparta, Kristi Hoke (Kelly) of Sparta and Jessica Edwards of Sparta; and also Bonnie Miller of Sparta. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
