She was predeceased by: her husband James Elmer Brooks; and her siblings, Dan Caudill, Roscoe Caudill, Edith Todd and Ruby Caudill.
She is survived by: her children, Walter "Buddy" Caudill (Linda) of State Road, Herman Brooks (Peggy) of Thurmond and Loria Grady (Anthony) of Clemmons; her stepson Reverend David Brooks (Frances) of Fremont; her grandchildren, Teresa Pruitt and Andrew Grady; her stepgrandchildren, Adaline Grady, Hayden Grady, Darin Brooks and Jeff Brooks; her great grandchild Abagail Pruitt; and her sisters, Elsie Crouse of Glade Valley and Esther Caudill of State Road. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
