She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Glenn and Lou Ella Edwards Richardson; her husband Walton Raleigh Joines; and her siblings, Pauline Baker, Nellie Orsburn, Ruth Richardson, Jerry McMillan, Frank Richardson and Mack Richardson.

She is survived by : her children, Dennis Joines (Mary) of Sparta and Denise Osborne (Randy) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Seth Joines of Sparta, Leia Crouse (Stephen) of Sparta and Ethan Osborne (Maggie) of Sparta; her great grandchildren, Emily Joines, Sophie Joines, Marius Crouse and Colter Osborne; and her sister-in-law Annie Marie Richardson of Elon.
