He was predeceased by: his former wife Annie Ruth Absher Crouse; and his siblings, Earl Crouse, Herbert Crouse, Viola Wood, Janie Wagoner, Gladys Brown, Ruth Loggins, Marie Nicholas and Tressie Crouse.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anders Crouse; his sons, Wayne Crouse (Audra) of Glade Valley and Melvin Crouse (Kerry) of Glade Valley; his stepchildren, Jason Sturgill of Sparta, Chad Foster of Sparta and Denna Hampton of Sparta; his grandchildren, Michael Crouse, Bonnie Crouse, Dillon Sides, Jenny Sides, Jacob Church, Laura Moxley, Meghan Grubb and Chasey Baremore; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Crouse. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
