She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurley Deese and Kathleen McKinney Deese; and her sister Janet Coucill. She is survived by: her sons, Brad Austin (Melissa) of Richfield and Burnie Austin (Lori) of Badin; her sisters, Sue Almond of Albemarle and Carol Hitchens of Wilmington, DE; and her grandchildren, Ethan Austin (Amber) and Samantha Austin.
