He is survived by: his parent Molly Darling Romanger Scarlette; his wife Elizabeth Pilkins Dalton Scarlette; his daughters, Sherry Scarlette Whitaker (Darrin) of Stokesdale and Samantha Scarlette Barham (Keith) of Stokesdale; his stepchildren, Tommy Dalton (Diane) of Raleigh and Robin Dalton (Dennis Johnson) of Yadkinville; his siblings, Early of Stokesdale, Dub of Stokesdale, Clyde of Stokesdale, Andy of Stokesdale, Brenda Davis (Charles) of Claudville, VA and JoAnn S. Stowe of Asheboro; his sisters-in-law, Thelma Suitt, Patricia Snow and Margaret Smith (Carlis); his grandchildren, Jennifer Lynne Bailey (William) and Hannah Nicole Whitaker; and his stepgrandchildren, Alec Stephens, Kadin Zarzosa, Conner Dalton, Lucas Wayne Bailey, Michael Christopher Bailey, Kelcy Dalton and Abygail LeAnn Bailey.
