He is survived by: his sons, Randy F. Bennett (Carol Anne) of North Wilkesboro, NC and Douglas L. Bennett of Elkin, NC; his grandson Andrew J. Bennett (Kimberley) of North Wilkesboro, NC; his great grandchild Easton W. Bennett of North Wilkesboro, NC; and his brother Dennis K. Bennett (Susan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
