It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelva Carter of Spencer, North Carolina, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lola Varnador Miller and Joseph Daniel Miller; and her brother Alvin Miller. She is survived by : her children, Jodie McCloud of Lincolnton, NC and Aaron Carter of Concord, NC; her siblings, Billy Miller, Lonnie Miller, Donnie Miller, Terry Miller, Betty Keever, Kaye Edwards and Gaye Lail; and her grandchildren, Holly McCloud, Nicholas McCloud, Bradley Carter and Chole Carter.
