He was predeceased by : his parents, Curt Barner and Hester Barner; his grandson Terry Cobb; his brother James Barner; and his half-siblings, Elsie Wines, Grady Smith, Clarence Smith and EJ Smith.
He is survived by : his wife Mozelle Barner; and his children, Tonda Ervin (Greene), Amy Williams (Ronald) of Chesnee, Leisa Barner of Ellenboro and Donnie Barner of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing will be required to attend the service.
