It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Ruppe (Spindale, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, David Willis and Sene Suthers; her husbands, Ulysses Champion and Ralph Ruppe; and her daughter Kay Champion.

She is survived by : her son Hewie Champion of Shelby; her grandson David Champion (Erin) of Kings Mountain; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Champion of Kings Mountain and Sydney Champion (Keith Pace) of Tacoma, WA..
