He was predeceased by : his parents, Jess William and Effie Turbyfill Rhyne; his former life partner Shirley Hughes Rhyne; his daughter Sherry Rhyne; and his siblings, Doris Thompson, Lucille Burleson, Alice Pittman, Frances Willis, Jesse Peterson and Ronald Rhyne.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Beth Thomas Rhyne; his daughters, Debbie Pittman (Rick) of Bakersville and Kristie McKinney (Rick) of Bakersville; his stepsons, Alan Revis of Spruce Pine and Greg Revis (Margie) of Newland; his grandchildren, Mitchell Pittman and Kelly Jones (Jordan); his stepgrandchildren, Shane, Summer Revis and Marquita Holden (Zack); and his stepgreat-grandson Kai Holden.
