She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Parker and Betty Sue Parker; and her brother Charlie Parker. She is survived by: her husband Dennis McKinney; her sons, Cody (Megan) and Jody (Brittany); her grandchildren, Rindie, Chloe (Carter), Mason, Parker, Addy, Denver, Mac and Reese; her siblings, Alice, Mary (Keith), Candy (Greg), Eddie (Shirley), Shane (Jenny) and Jerry Griffith; and her close friends, Donna Brewer and Lois Woody. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roan Mountain Missionary Baptist Church (37 Sandy Branch Rd, Bakersville, NC 28705). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Gideons International Ministry.
