We bid farewell to Kelly Ray Gunter (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 4, 2025 at the age of 57. Kelly Ray touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Danny Gunter; his daughter Alicia Gunter; and his grandparents, B. R. Wright, Wilma Wright, Ray and Carol Gunter.
He is survived by: his mother Sabra Wright Robinson (Larry); his granddaughter Raeleigh Gunter; his siblings, Jean Gunter (Rick Beam) and David Gunter; and his stepmother Carolyn Gunter. He is also survived by stepbrother, stepsister, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Webb Funeral Home (128 Roan Rd, Spruce Pine, NC 28777).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
