It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Harkey of Stacy, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Watson Harkey and Margaret Clark Harkey; and his siblings, Sandra and Steve. He is survived by : his wife Tweedles Smith; his children, Paul Hackney (Susan) of Greenville, Justin Harkey (Abby) of Chicago and Jody Harkey of Lexington; and his stepdaughters, Leslie Daniels (Sheldon) of Bettie and Kathryn Chadwick (Chris) of Stacy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
