She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Sr. Hill and Lela G. Hill; and her brother Lloyd Hill, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Clayborn Murphy; her daughter Ava Dawn Murphy; her sister Janet Hill Salter (Bryan) of Sea Level; her aunt Allie Harris Gaskill of Stacy; her nieces and nephews, Lea Hill Daniels (Steve) of Sea Level, Linda Taylor Fulcher (Thomas Mann) of Beaufort, Patrick Hill (Becky) of Atlantic and Lloyd Thomas Salter (Amanda Eubanks) of Concord; her great-nephews, Joshua Hill, Thomas James Hill, Robert Lloyd Hill, Nathaniel Hill, Dustin Taylor and Gray Daniels; and her friend Barbara Hill Taylor of Morehead City. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
