She was predeceased by: her husband Richard S. Kivett; and her parents, Otis Kivett and Dora York Kivett. She is survived by: her children, Judy Barnes (Wayne) of Archdale, Mike Kivett (Karen) of Staley and Terry York (Paula) of Asheboro; her brother Hampton "Buster" Kivett of Staley; and her grandchildren, Kyle Kivett (Lacy) of Liberty, Derek Kivett of Jacksonville, Dustin Kivett of Asheboro, Beth Pierce of Lexington, Jeff York of Melancton and Angie Stanley (Kelby) of Melancton. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
