He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester Moore and Mamie Moore; and his grandson Jason Suggs. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Campbell Moore; his children, Brenda Suggs (Ronald), Roxie Rape (Mike) and Donald Moore (Jan); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Suggs Dotson, Matthew Rape and Evan Rape. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.

The family requests memorials be made to Stallings United Methodist Church.
