He is survived by : his wife Patricia Clifton Knight; his sons, Jeffrey Wilson Knight (Donna) of Monroe, NC. and Christopher Brian Knight (Jennifer) of Monroe, NC.; his brother MacArthur Knight (Libby) of Mint Hill, NC; and his granddaughters, Erin Elizabeth of Indian Trail, NC, Mia Min Knight of Monroe, NC, Hannah Allyce and Lillian Knight of Monroe, NC.
