She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Thomas Hawks Sr. and Alma Mae Ledford Hawks; her husband Lynn Summers Sr.; and her brother William Hawks. She is survived by: her son Lynn Summers (Sharon) of Pinehurst, NC; her siblings, Hugh Thomas Hawks (Sheila) of Albemarle, NC, Gary Alan Hawks (Wanda) of Statesville, NC and Joanne Jarrett (Kenneth) of Granite Quarry, NC; her grandchildren, Steven Summers (Amy) of Menifee, CA and Claire DeSpain (Craig) of Pinebluff, NC; and her great grandchildren, Laina Summers, Sadie Summers, Noah, Hope, Titus and Gideon DeSpain.
