We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 72, Bonita Illona Allison of Statesville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James and Mary A. Allison; and her brother Harlen Alexander. She is survived by : her brothers-in-law, Earl Smith and Samuel Summers; her children, Stephanie Allison of Statesville, NC and Nicholas Allison; her grandchildren, Kennan Merritt of Wadesboro, NC, Jasmine Allison and Myeisha Allison of Statesville, NC.; her great grandchildren, Zay'vion Allison, Ivy Pickett and Kayden Merritt; her siblings, Helen A. Summers, Carolyn Allison, James Allison (Sylvia) and John Allison (Tammy); her sister-in-law Clara Alexander of Baltimore, MD.; and her close friends, Peggy Murdock, Patricia Miller, Claretta Boller, Margaret Campbell, Annie R. White and Cynthia Carson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews' cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Bunch Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
