With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Shaner of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Paul Neil. She is survived by: her mother Elma Neil; her husband Kenneth; her children, Laine (Tripp), Brian (Holly) and Scott; her grandchildren, Ryan (Jane), Lindsay (Zac), Maddie (Melissa), Bowen (Janine) and Hayden; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Rhys, Georgeanna and Lenna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St John's Lutheran Church (740 N Center St, Statesville, NC 28677). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, 28625, or St. John's Lutheran Church, 740 N. Center St., Statesville, NC 28677.
