He was predeceased by: his parents, Early Duke Poole and Ethel Wilson Poole; and his spouse Antha Bost Poole. He is survived by: his children, Terica "Terri" Baker (Mark) and Marc Poole (Rhonda) of Statesville; his grandsons, Jacob Mitchell and Jared Mitchell (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Ty Basenback and Jaxon Mitchell; and his sisters, Mildred Laney of Concord, NC and Ruby Harris (Jo Corriher) of Indian Trail, NC.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (815 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
