She was predeceased by : her parents, Fate Pittman and Maude Parker Pittman; her brother Ray Pittman; and her daughter-in-law Linda Edwards. She is survived by : her husband Palmer Edwards Jr.; her sons, Roger Edwards (Charla) of High Point, NC and Jeffrey Edwards (Jane) of Amelia, VA; her grandchildren, Kyle Edwards and Ryan Edwards (Sydney); and her brothers, George Pittman (Linda) and Dean Pittman (Judy).

Memorials may be made to Western Avenue Baptist Church of Statesville, NC.
