She was predeceased by : her parents, Flora Collins Gregory and J. B.; her husband Robert E. Ijames; her grandson Marcus Barber of Woodleaf, NC; and her brother Stephone Gregory of Davie County, NC.

She is survived by : her granddaughter Sherry Oglesby; and her siblings, James Benard Gregory of Salisbury, NC, Miles Lee Gregory of Lexington, NC, William Matthew Gregory of Woodleaf, NC, Agnes Jackson of Woodleaf, NC, Mary Ann Tenor, Gertrude Gregory of Mocksville, NC and Pearline Litaker of Salisbury, NC. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The lying in state was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church (772 Cool Springs Rd, Statesville, NC 28625). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (772 Cool Springs Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
