In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George N. Jones and Norma Frazier Jones; his daughter Briana Jones; and his sister Joyce Williams. He is survived by: his caregiver Edna "Edy" Shupe; his children, Tom Jones and Melanie Freeze; and his sister Neddie Rader. He is also survived by four half-sisters and two half-brothers; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166).
