He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Burgess (Jeannie) of Mount Pleasant and Adam Burgess (Laura) of Concord; his siblings, Patti Burgess of Marshville, Wayne Burgess (Robin) of Concord and Lori Burgess Bobbitt (Tim) of Concord; and his grandchildren, Rachael, Desmond, Grayson and Landon. He is also survived by uncle to his beloved nephews and nieces.
