He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyte Arnold Elliott and Nolena Compton Elliott; and his sister Vickie Reep. He is survived by: his wife Donna Elliott; his children, Garrett Elliott (Cassie), Luke Elliott (Emily) and Maddie Elliott; his grandchildren, Hazel Elliott, Jackson Elliott, Nora Elliott and Maci Elliott; and his nieces, Allison Jordan and Ginger Keever.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
