He was predeceased by: his father Lemuel Johns; and his wife Wanda Johns. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Johns (Adrianna Lind) of Statesville; his siblings, David Johns (Crystal) of Statesville and Kim Drum (Michael) of Statesville; and his nephew Carl Ray Proffitt.
