He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Middleton, Sr. and Alma Darty Middleton. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Middleton; his children, Chris Haigh (Mary), Allen Harris, Terry McMullen (Ashley), Anthony Harris, Antoine Harris, David Gray, Teresa Bennett and Sharron Harris; his adoptive children, Zeyrae Middleton, Jahaira Middleton, Leonard Middleton III and Tatyanna Matos; and his siblings, Randolph Middleton, Sr., Madelyn Mathis and Claudette Laster. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
