She is survived by: her children, Marvin Speaks, Rodger Speaks (Ann) and Dianne Lassiter (Bill); and her siblings, Ada Martin, Martha Elmore (Jim), Margie Foye (Mike) and Benny Sowers (Amy).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Calendar Iredell Memorial Park (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
