It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Wilson of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Hanks and Ruth McKnight Hanks; her husband Donald Wilson; and her brother Harold Hanks. She is survived by : her children, Mike Griffin (Cindy) of Cornelius and Lisa Brown (Leon) of Statesville; her grandchildren, Mykel Myers (Josh), Rob Griffin (Patricia), Meredyth Holdenrid (Mike), Courtney Spencer (Tom) and Anne Teller (Josh); her great grandchildren, Cru Myers, Echo Myers, Samantha Mansfield, Matthew Mansfield, Jacqueline Mansfield, Braden Holdenrid, Caleb Holdenrid, Ashby Spencer, Hadley Spencer, Atwood Brown, Penelope Brown, Fisher Brown and Lennon Teller; her great great grandchildren, Elena and Gracie; and her great-niece Sara Waugh.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Iredell Memorial Gardens (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
