Peggy Transou Huffstickler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2025, at the age of 91, Peggy Transou Huffstickler of Statesville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Transou and Zethria Lyons Transou; her husband John Ray Huffstickler; and her siblings, Leeman Transou and Joann T. Reece.
She is survived by: her children, Judy H. Cape (Alvin), Penny H. Laws (Joe) and Dennis Ray Huffstickler; her grandchildren, Mark Keller (Casey), Kristi Keller (Geno), Megan Laws and Hunter Huffstickler; and her great grandchildren, Caleb and Charlotte Mallacoccio. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or American Cancer Society (Multiple Myeloma).
