She was predeceased by : her parents, Dwight Bowles and Lois Stevenson Bowles. She is survived by : her husband Allen; her son Bryan (Gina); her sister Gladys Austin; and her granddaughters, Sarah Kathryn Starrette Tucker (Dustin) and Emily Bryan Starrette McNamara (Sean).

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Iredell Memorial Park (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, 825 Wesley Dr. Statesville, N.C. 28677.
