He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Ozell Hammer and Naomi Rufty Hammer; his son William Tracy Hammer; his brother Larry Hammer; and his siblings-in-law, Sherry Hammer and Bobby Dyson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Diane Martin Hammer; his son Rev. Wesley Hammer (Paige); his grandsons, Isaac (Nicole), Landon (Jessica) and Luke; his great grandchildren, Beckett and Baylor; and his sisters, Ann Dyson and Pat Cockrell (Steve).
