With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne James Shirah (Summerfield, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Buell Lee James and Hattie Lawson James; and her husband Charles Edward Shirah. She is survived by : her pet Daisy; her sons, Dennis Darnell (Debbie) and Rickey Darnell; her grandchildren, Allyson Wilson (Chris) and Dusty Darnell (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Syler Wilson, Callyn Wilson, Maddox Darnell and Eleanor Darnell; and her sister Shelby Paschal.
