He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Edward Fonner and Sophia Tarsia Fonner; his wife Patricia Walters Fonner; his children, Deborah Etherington Griffin (Russ) and Bernard Wray Fonner, Jr.; his grandchildren, Dana Gumm (Josh), Amy Thompson (Will), Ben Fonner (Katie) and Sam Fonner; his great grandchildren, Cooper Gumm and Lara Fonner; his brother Raymond Lee Fonner (Patty); his brother-in-law Larry Walters, Jr. (Nellie); his grandson Joshua Fonner; and his siblings, Ron Fonner and Helen Louise Grabiak. He was also cherished by dog he met, watching the birds.
