Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dossie Dinwiddie and Elizabeth "Sissy" Dinwiddie Keith; her husband Burton Osteen of Burton's Place; her son David Osteen; and her sister Barbara Longcoy.

She is survived by : her children, Preston Osteen, Karen Alexander (Laren) and Michele Welsh (John); her grandchildren, Vanessa Marlowe (Matt), Amie Greene (Aaron), Dr. McKenzie Alexander (Jaime Sanchez), Doss Alexander, Tyler Welsh (Jamie), Jordan Welsh and Garret Welsh; and her pet Marley. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
