He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wrubel and Katherine Dzagan Wrubel; and his siblings, Joseph Wrubel and Marianne Zerucha. He is survived by: his son John Wrubel (Jennifer) of Swansboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro Thursday (407 Old Hammock Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mildred Catholic Church (653 Old Hammock Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the following charities; St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Tunnel to Towers; and Samaritans' Purse.
