He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Robinson, Sr. and Hazel Ramsey Robinson; his daughter Robin Lynn Robinson; his wife Mary Robinson; and the mother of his children Virginia Cochran Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Camilla Spears (Jim) of Hubert, Tiffany LaRose Golla (Atila) of Raleigh and Dorsey "Robbie" Robinson, III (Julie) of Wrightsville Beach. He is also survived by one step- daughter; and seven grandsons, one granddaughter, and seven great grandchildren.
