He is survived by: his children, Allison Fleetwood Cleve (Justin) of Swansboro and Chad Evans Fleetwood of Swansboro; his siblings, Elizabeth Gaydica of Southern Pines and Thomas Wilson Fleetwood of Edenton; and his grandchildren, Dalton Evans Fleetwood, Aiden Wayne Fleetwood, Madeline Baye Cleve and Presley Elizabeth Cleve.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Edenton Baptist Church, 200 S. Granville Street, Edenton, NC 27932.
