He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenton Sr. Dunston and Daisy Dunston. He is survived by: his wife Denise Shepard Dunston; and his stepsons, Ryan Shepard of Swansboro, Brandon Shepard (Elizabeth) of Swansboro and Nicholas Shepard (Casie) of Wilmington. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
