Nancy Lancaster Hewitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Lancaster Hewitt of Swansboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lancaster and Edna Arthur Lancaster; her husband Sam Powell Hewitt; and her stepdaughter Cynthia Wills. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Hewitt (Teen) of Beaufort, NC, Annettia Hewitt (Tom) of Elberfeld, IN, Todd Hewitt (Jennifer) of Hugoton, KS, Carrie Meadows (Sammy) of Hubert, Sammy Hewitt (Mandy) of Hubert and Brittney Hernandez (Anthony) of Hubert; her sister Jean Vassey (Chris); her sibling's children, Megan Mason of Spartanburg, SC and Sawyer Vassey of Conway, SC; and her pet Lottie. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queens Creek Methodist Church (324 Hubert Blvd, Hubert, NC 28539). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
